Wednesday, 4th day of the experiment. Last night was the second unattended overnight run of the REAL. Surprisingly decent amount of structure in images overnight with northerly flow. At 6 AM this morning, an amazing band of high backscatter existed across the scan area that we could not identify the source of.
Today was partly sunny and the flow was from the south. Lots of cumulus clouds. Hot and dry.
Dennis Partington in the Network Operations Group at Chico State worked with Cradlepoint engineers today and established the Starlink connection through the Cradlepoint. (Verizon 5G will be a fall back.)
