The Santa Barbara County Education Office (https://sbceo.org/) is helping us get a high-speed Internet connection at the base site. The primary contact is Sheryl Pognant, manager of Information Technology Services.
Sheryl reports they have a new 10Gbps Internet connection, but the switches where we will be connecting are at 100Mbps. That should be plenty of bandwidth for us.
We are bringing the longest ethernet cable I could find, 250 feet, and Sheryl will let me know if that might be long enough. If not, we plan to resort to a Ubiquiti wireless connection.
