Case Overview

Launch at 14:00Z and 14:45Z on March 17th 2015.  Temps in the high 30's with winds coming from the North. There were a few Light/Moderate PIREPS reported throughout the event of interest. In the lowest 2 km of the atmosphere we are seeing a large spike in the liquid content. The Integrated Liquid water content is almost off the charts. Before the period, we had a very low cloud base, with a secondary cloud base of ~4km.  When this upper level dissipates, we see the jump in Integrated Liquid Water. The sondes that were launched hit a SLW max (more to come when data is received from NASA Glenn)
