    Task:

Partnering with two scientists from CGD who model a region in the western Pacific Ocean called the Coral Triangle.  Their 100 year model predicts how deep dwelling ecosystems will be impacted by ocean temperature changes in the 21st century.  The Coral Triangle is of particular interest because it is the most biodiverse region on the planet, and also facilitates climatic events such as El Nino, the Asian Monsoon, and the Indian Ocean Dipole.

VAPOR, Geyser, and Yellowstone (2M compute hours ??? stored on glade) are being used in order to produce:

    1) Publishable visualizations that will describe the vertical mixing of seawater in the Coral Triangle.

    2) A showcase animation that explains the science behind the simulation and the systems that permit this research, while also being visually stunning.
