Tours
Description & Benefits:
Allow visitors to tour the Supercomputing Center. These tours could be guided if resources allow, or self-guided if headsets and/or informational brochures are provided. Tours of the Supercomputing Center would allow many people a unique opportunity to see a center of this kind and provide teachers an additional resource for educating their classes.
UCAR/NCAR's role:
Permit tours to be conducted in the Center and build the facility in a tourist-friendly manner. Compile the information for the tour guides and/or self-guided tours.
External roles:
Local volunteers could give guided tours with some training.
