The sounding QC laptop will have a drive letter N: configured, which points to Synch_to_Boulder\EOL_data\AVAPS_data\ on the NAS in the operations center. This way the drive N: will only show the folder \dfiles, \prelim_qc, \tempdrop, \bufr, \skewt, and \raw_data. These folders will be synced to Boulder.

So far, what needs to be resolved is the plane-to-EOL data transmit, i.e. where are the students getting the data?
Another issue that needs confirmation is whether the students will in QC-ing the data from the main field laptop, or whether an NCAR loaner laptop needs to be provided, or whether the students will be QC'ing from their personal computer.

Greg - can you verify that you will be grabbing/pushing the TEMP/BUFR files from that ftp directory? I was told that you are the author of the script that does this. Thanks!
