    • Helping Indonesian user with GEN_BE concepts
    • Helping user with segmentation fault when turning on thin_rainobs option. Probably issue with code
    • User asked about prepbufr -> little_r converter ( Peking University)
    • Helping visitor Chester Huang running GENBE on Yellowstone

  • Working on bug fix for problem with rain_thinning option (ref user email above)
  • Modifying regression test script to work with github

  • WRFHELP emails:
    • Still helping user with segmentation fault when turning on thin_rainobs option. Referred problem to Junmei.
    • User having trouble compiling on Cray machine with "ftn" compiler  (Colorado State University)
    • Helping user trying to run radar assimilation with new options (INPE/Brazil)
    • Further question from same Indonesian user from last week

  • Hosted wrf-dev meeting (1pm Friday)
  • Making corrections to user's guide with help from Jamie and Jenny

  • Hosted wrf-dev meeting (1pm Friday)
  • Set up new laptop computer (bacon)
  • Commits to the trunk:
    • Adding ftn.setup file for CRTM compile with ftn compiler
    • Cleaned up some radiance output, made error message for missing leapsec.dat clearer
  • WRFHELP emails:
    • Helping Russian user with formatting her own LITTLE_R observations, as well as running OBSPROC
    • Helped user with namelist problem for 4DVAR
  • Ran regular WRF/WRFDA regression tests
  • Added WRFDA beta release page for new cloudy radiance capability (http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/wrfda/beta.html)

    • Still Helping Russian user with formatting her own LITTLE_R observations
  • Updated tutorial page for LITTLE_R format for a couple user questions (http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/users/wrfda/OnlineTutorial/Help/littler.html)
  • Ran regular WRF/WRFDA regression tests
  • Regression test improvements:
    • Add ability to pull code from git repository
    • Add ability to check out specific branch from git repository
    • Add capability to run test on bacon (new mac laptop)
    • Add custom "libs" directory, move WRFV3 code there for cycling tests for consistency
