GCMD Keywords
One of the organizing tools employed within GDEX is the use of Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) Keywords. This set of hierarchical keywords is well-established in the Earth Science community. A request to include the obs_seq file format as a GCMD keyword has been made. If approved, they keyword can be used to tag datasets that include obs_seq files.
