One of the organizing tools employed within GDEX is the use of Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) Keywords. This set of hierarchical keywords is well-established in the Earth Science community. A request Two requests have been made to NASA Earth Data to include additional keywords in the GCMD database:
- obs_seq as a file format
- Data Assimilation Research Testbed as a project
GCMD keyword has been made. If approved, they keyword these keywords can be used to tag datasets that include obs_seq files.
