Access

The La Cumbre Peak tower site (34.500386, -119.721549) is located on an access road off of E Camino Cielo, approximately 11.3 miles east of San Marcos Pass Road (Highway 154). This access road is for two fenced communication facilities. The road passes around the northern edge of one facility fence line and continues 350’ west to a large parking area. The tower is located 200’ west of this parking area, at the marked location. The site location is accessed by walking along and past the north fence line of the second communication facility.

• There is a gate that is sometime closed, but hasn't been locked.
• The new Tower 10 site for SWEX 2022 (34.500386, -119.721549) has been shifted 2000' east of the originally approved SWEX 2020 location (34.501869, -119.729014). This is due to a knapweed infestation in the original location.
