Saturday August 19 Bruce started the lidar with a

30 minute warm up - data collection starts at 0940 PDT

Increasing high clouds all day.  Conditions at 1500 PDT - high overcast.

Taped a blue tarp on the roof of the lab container - around the BSU.

Trying to prevent the anticipated rain from hurricane Hillary from leaking into the lidar lab.

Left the site a bit after 1600 PDT and will monitor the lidar from the motel.

Lidar shut down by Bruce at about 7:15 PDT - start to see the first rain from hurricane Hillary.
