About

Codecov is used to test our GitHub repository projects. The JEDI Infrastructure team is responsible for adding and activating new members, if it is necessary. Codecov gives active members testing results for their Pull Requests. With our current plan in Codecov, we are able to have 18 active members.

Procedures

New user accounts

The new team member need to log in at https://app.codecov.io/login with their GitHub account information. The GitHub "JCSDA" and "JCSDA-Internal" organizations should be available to them upon logging in.  After they log in the first time, an administrator can activate their Codecov access.

Activate new members

  1. Log into codecov and navigate to the “JCSDA-internal” organization.
  2. Click on “Members” from the top toolbar
  3. Toggle on or off the slide button under “Activation status”

Adding an account administrator

  1. Log into codecov and navigate to the “JCSDA-internal” organization.
  2. Click on “Settings” in the top toolbar
  3. Use the “Search to add administrator” box to add another administrator
