Night pilot training

Just prior to starting engines, we received an email from Josh about an issue with the PPS from RF01. There was not time to troubleshoot, but we were able to gather some more information.

When the data system was restarted into PP05 the IRIG status for DSM 303 was 37, and there were error messages on the controls page. We took off in that state.

We stayed in the pattern the DSM for landing taxi back work.

During the initial takeoff and landing, the IRIG Status for 303 stayed at 37. When we were taxiing back, it changed states, and at the next takeoff, it went to 0, and then when flying went back to 4. It seemed to change state more during taxi than when flying, which was very smooth.

There was no opportunity to troubleshoot during the flight.

We will look at it before RF02 on Friday, but since they want to fly for 3 days and it is basically working, we will employ a minimally invasive strategy to troubleshooting.
