This documentation describes the policies, procedures, and services that existed while NSDL was operated by UCAR.
NSDL provides a set of APIs and produces Open Source Software products that help developers in the education community to access, reuse, organize, manage, and disseminate quality digital educational content to advance Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teaching and learning.
To begin, see the Technical Overview to get an understanding of the NSDL technical platform and use the navigation bar at the left to access detailed information about each API and software product.
NSDL also publishes metadata and paradata to the Learning Registry.
