Access

From Sedgwick Reserve's main building, travel up the track to the northwest past the manager's houses, and follow the track as it turns left up a steep hill. It will then parallel a meadow and the tower site(34.695531, -120.047136), about 10m west of the track.

Notes

  • Contact before install
  • Primary contact:
  • Sedgwick Reserve regularly changes their entry code, verify before visiting for install
  • If it is your first time visiting, check in at the main building and sign their waiver
  • This from Alison, that isn't quite the same...

"To access Sedgwick Reserve, please use the following steps before heading up to the site:

    1. Submit a new reservation in RAMS (https://rams.ucnrs.org) under your Application #43288 for each visit by an individual or group detailing the date, time and participants names.  In the reservation request you will be asked which "asset" you want to use - day use or overnight housing use.  A reservation should be submitted each time there is a new visit.
Please coordinate who will submit a RAMS request if two or more groups are going to the site.
    2. For each visit, the On-Site Sign In form needs to be submitted for each person in the group. So if there are four people visiting the site tomorrow, one person can complete four forms for each individual, or each individual can complete the form.
    3. Each person needs to complete the Sedgwick Reserve online waiver form, once per person over the duration of the project.
