Disk quotas are enforced on division-wide storage to allow equal access for all users.

As of this writing, quotas are enforced on the following partitions:

  • /home (aka H: Drive) 9 GB per user.
  • cluster /home: 15 GB per user.
  • e-mail INBOX: 1.5 GB per user.
  • Google Apps storage (i.e., combine e-mail, folders, drive, etc): 30 GB per user.


Note that quotas are not enforced on /project partitions. Allocation on these is managed by the 'good neighbor' policy.
