Troubleshooting Webex from a Browser

  1. Go to https://www.webex.com/test-meeting.html
  2. Enter a display name and your email, then click join to begin a test meeting
  3. A package for Webex will be offered for download, or you can begin the meeting from your browser
  4. Next you will see a screen to adjust audio and camera settings. Note, I did not find this screen very helpful when joining from a browser. It wouldn’t let me test my microphone. Read the note on the next step for an alternative.
  5. After reviewing your settings, click join meeting. Confirm everything is working as expected. If you are testing in a browser, there are now more options available for tweaking and now there is an input indicator in the audio settings that will show if your microphone is picking up sound.
