NETS Request Procedures
- Please submit a WR to NETS using ExtraView
- As much advanced notice as possible is desirable - things will go much more smoothly with advanced warning
- Required dates for work to be done very helpful
- Specify NWSC in the primary WR description (ie. [NWSC] Patch Request)
- Ideally, 2 weeks notice is desirable as we are scheduling travel and work out that far
- The optical transceiver type for 10G connections in advance is highly desirable so we are sure we have the correct type on hand
- Subnets to be activated
- The more detail the better as this is a new facility and there are no "common" practices at this point - everything is new
