On Monday we started with a new batch of helpers including two post-docs (Daisuke and Callum), and two Graduate students (Adam and Andrew) - learning setup for the potential ARISE project
We were able to setup two sites sequentially, S3 an then S1 .
Neither site has soil installed yet,and will be added later when we have enough Tsoils. Also S1 did not have the sonic reporting.
Then Tony and Dexter were able to return to little pine, add the dew sensor to the NR01, and free and return the pickup truck!
On Tuesday we first created 8 job boxes to simplify work moving forward. Then we drove to S10, and unloaded and laid out this site (new location)
Then three team members continued to S11. This site (S11) is less than optimal!
It is very open and accessible directly from the road.
There was not a good location for the NR01 or soils.
Neither S10 or S11 have soils installed, they will be installed later by Steve when he brings the rest of the Tsoils.
